Janet Louise Hubert, an American actress born on January 13, 1956, gained fame for her portrayal of the original Vivian Banks in the television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She played this role from the show's inception in 1990 until the end of its third season in 1993. Hubert was recognized for her acting skills and received a nomination for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series in 1991. In 2020, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance as Mignon in the digital series King Ester.
