Even the doctors were very surprised to see this behavior of Osho because friends, they had never seen any child doing this before.

Osho spent his early childhood living with his maternal grandparents, but after the death of his maternal grandfather, Osho had to return to his parents and at that time he was only 7 years old. Because of this habit of his, his school teacher was also upset because he used to ask too many questions.

You would be surprised to know that at the age of just 12, he used to go to the crematorium at night. Actually, Osho wanted to know what happens to a person after death? Seeing the birth chart of Osho in his childhood, some astrologers of Banaras had said that this child is likely to die every 7 years till the age of 21 years. Those astrologers believed that the chances of Osho surviving beyond 21 years are almost equal to no.

Along with this, They said that if this child lives beyond 21, then he can get knowledge. Friends knew this strange prediction about him, so when he was 14 years old, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) waited for his death by sitting in a temple for 7 days. But death did not even touch him. 

You would be surprised to know that he had read more than 1,00,000 books in his lifetime. Chandramohan Chain (Osho)  had made his own library in his house, in which he used to read three to four books every day. Chandramohan Chain's (Osho) father used to say that once upon a time there used to be a library in our house and today we have a library in our house because Osho gradually increased the size of the library. Although he was fond of reading books, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) himself Never wrote any book.

You will find thousands of books in the name of Osho in the market. But in reality, those books are not written by Osho but by his devotees and followers. Actually, Osho's followers used to record everything of his during the discourses, and the books sold in the name of Osho were written by copying his same discourses. It is said that Chandramohan Chain (Osho) was fond of living a luxurious life since childhood and his parents used to fulfill his hobby. Once in his childhood, Osho insisted that he would go to school sitting on an elephant. This stubbornness had to be accepted, after which Chandramohan Chain (Osho) went to school sitting on an elephant.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) used to spend a lot of his time every day near that tree. He was told that the attachment and connection that he had with that tree, he could not have with any human being in the world, and as time passed, Osho's relationship with that tree became even deeper. That was the day of March 21, 1953, when Osho attained enlightenment while sitting under a tree. At that time Osho was only 21 years old and then he was studying Philosophy at Jabalpur College. It was really a big surprise to have attained supreme knowledge at such a young age. After attaining enlightenment, Osho used to say that he is no longer in search of anything in the world because existence has opened all doors for him.

Even after being addressed, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) did not stop his studies and obtained an MA degree in Philosophy from University of Sagar. After this, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) started giving discourses about different religions and ideologies of the world. Along with discourses, he also started organizing meditation camps.

Friends, at that time Chandramohan Chain (Osho), was known as Acharya Rajneesh. Actually, Rajneesh was his nickname which he got from his family. In his discourses, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) openly criticized all the religions and ideologies of the world. Actually, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) studied every religion of the world and also used to keep the flaws of all the religions openly in front of the people. This was the reason that the religious gurus of almost all the religions of the world had turned against Osho. But he used to keep his views open.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) always advocated an independent approach to Sambhav. He was even against the system of getting married. Due to these things of his, people who defamed him started calling him a sex guru. Chandramohan Chain (Osho) used to advocate violence instead of non-violence to Gandhiji and all these things of his made him a controversial guru. It is generally seen that when a person becomes a monk, he leaves his home, relations, relatives, and family. But he was strongly against becoming such a monk. Chandramohan Chain (Osho) believed that a person can become a monk even after living with his family. Osho started his new asceticism movement and only after starting this movement, he also started calling himself Osho.

Osho's goal was not only to preach to the Indian people, but he wanted to give his teachings to the whole world and that is why he spent some years of his life living in America. Actually lived in America from 1981 to 1985.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) had built his ashram in America's Argon province, which was spread over 65,000 acres. During his stay in America, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) became even more controversial because his lifestyle changed a lot after coming here. Because of expensive watches, Rolls Royce, and designer clothes, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) always became the subject of criticism. You would be surprised to know that Osho had more than 100 Rolls Royce cars at that time.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) wanted to have 365 Rolls Royce cars so that he could travel in a new Rolls Royce car every day. His critics called him the guru of the rich. On this Osho said that there are many gurus of the poor in the world and if I am the guru of the rich, then there is nothing bad in it. When Osho started giving his discourses and his teachings to the people in America, people there also became his devotees.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) became so famous in America that even then US President Ronald Reagan was terrified of him. Chandramohan Chain (Osho) began to fear that if he stayed here for a longer time, he might lose power. So he started creating problems for Osho in America, after which Osho returned to India in 1985.

Chandramohan Chain (Osho) died on January 19, 1990, almost 5 years after coming back. There was a lot of controversy over the death of Osho, in which many people said that Chandramohan Chain (Osho) was murdered, but no action was taken regarding the murder. The claim has never been proven either. And Osho's death remained a mystery forever. Even though Chandramohan Chain (Osho) is no more in this world today, through his recorded discourses in his books, Chandramohan Chain (Osho) is still giving his teachings to millions of people.
