Anuja Acharya, Kanchan Bista, and Laxmi Chand recently Innovate Voice Controlled Devices. They are 3rd-semester studying girls from Sudur Pashchimanchal Academy (SPA) located at Dhangadi.
The voice control technology is being used in ever-more creative ways as the demand for these devices continues to grow. As per students, this device can operate (On/Off) electronic appliances like Fans, motors, Tv and so many other electronic items easily.
Further students added, that they are focusing on projects like voice-activated writing, Television Voice Assistance, Voice controlled smart displays, Hand Free Gaming, and so many projects.
For the fulfillment of their project work
The BIM Program Director of SPA College Engineer Bhim Pun and Instructor Ravindra Rana developed the tool with the help of the students.
Program Director Pun said that this development is a vivid example that SPA is teaching practical knowledge useful in daily life along with theoretical knowledge.
"The kind of technology that the students have developed is not a development, but an invention," said Pun, "SPA students are determined to solve common people's problems by combining information and management." SPA has moved forward with the determination to move from the IT sector to the transformation of society and the country.
SPA is the only educational institution in the Far West where the BIM program of Tribhuvan University is taught. 12 pass students can study BIM subject from any faculty. For that, SIMAT (Entrance Test) must be given. CMAT classes are going to be conducted in SPA from the 15th of July. Program director Pun informed that students who want to study BIM should contact the college immediately.
Not long ago, two projects made by the students studying BIM of SPA succeeded in being among the top 5 in the Far West media startup and idea fest held in Dhangadhi.
