At the age of six, Neeta Dhungana began her career in the field with the television series Chetana. Later, she makes her acting debut in the movie Mitini as a little child. She had no intention of becoming a well-known actor in the Nepali film industry at the time, but Gala Ratai Girl from the movie Notebook has made her renowned today.

Neeta worked as a child actor in two films, including Mitini and Ajambari Nata. Both films were huge hits at the time.
