As per their requirement, Nepal remains successful in claiming an MCC grant by surpassing all criteria that need to approve.

About MCC Agreement By Nepal

Nepal Government and MCC board members made an agreement on 14 September 2014 by former finance minister Ganendra Bahadur Karki. According to that agreement, MCC will aid $500 million (60 Arab) and have to include $130 million from the Nepal government as per the agreement. where total budgets were sanctioned for Energy Power Generation And Transportation Infrastructure Improvement subjects.

that china will treat as a neighboring country and aids. In the MCC agreement, there is a clear conspiratory point state, which for circling china and by making Nepal as part of Indo pacific strategy. Even For export electricity, approval from the Indian side is mandatory, but we have a china boundary as well to sell electricity. Such agreement points are also undigestible for Nepali.

If during implementation and construction work, Any unpredictable harm or damage occurs, then, MCC or the US government will not be responsible. let's Understand this point through example If Any MCC authority traveling vehicle hits, a worker in the site and immediately gets dead. then, Nepali law cannot do punish them.

Timely, Nepal receives various foreign aid grants and passes through the ministry level but for the MCC case, the house of representatives has to pass from the majority. So, due to many controversial points, Nepalese doesn't want an MCC grant. But the Deuba government is consistently conveying to citizens by showing the good aspect of MCC. But citizens are continuously demonstrating and protesting for the cancellation of the MCC agreement through the house of Representatives.
